Skylight Hot Air Balloon Festival: A Family Event You Don’t Want to Miss

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids this fall, the Skylight Hot Air Balloon Festival is one of the best family-friendly events of the season. Festival Schedule & What to Expect

The festival runs across multiple days, and each day offers something different, so families can pick the experience that fits them best.

Friday — October 26

5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Friday evening is a great time to arrive after work or school. The balloons glow at dusk, the weather cools down, and the event grounds come alive with food, activities, and entertainment.

Saturday — October 27

Balloon Competition: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Early risers get the best view. Watching the balloons inflate is often kids’ favorite part. Seeing the burners fire and the balloons slowly rise is something most children have never experienced in person.

Event Reopens: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Saturday afternoon and evening are packed with family activities including:
