If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids this fall, the Skylight Hot Air Balloon Festival is one of the best family-friendly events of the season. The skies fill with colorful balloons, there are activities for children throughout the day, and families can spend hours exploring, playing, and enjoying the atmosphere together.
ReliaBee will be there too — and we’d love for you to stop by our booth. We’ll have treats for the kids, giveaways, and prizes throughout the event, so it’s a great opportunity to come say hello while the family enjoys the festival.
You can find us at:

Sunday morning is the most relaxed day and a great option for families who want to enjoy the balloons without the crowds.
It’s one of the most affordable full-family outings of the year and offers hours of entertainment for kids and adults alike.
Believe it or not, hot air balloons operate on the same principles your home comfort system uses every day.
A balloon rises because heated air becomes lighter and lifts upward. Inside your home, the same thing happens constantly:
Your HVAC system is designed to control this movement. When airflow is balanced, your home stays comfortable. When it isn’t, you notice hot and cold spots, uneven temperatures, and rising energy bills.
Watching a balloon inflate shows how important proper airflow is. The balloon must fill evenly before it can lift. Your ductwork works the same way — air has to distribute correctly throughout the house before heating or cooling can be effective.
Events like this are why we love serving homeowners in the community. The festival gives us a chance to meet families, answer home comfort questions, and help people understand how their systems work in a simple, approachable way.
